Since 1963, Prisoners Aid (ACT) has walked alongside detainees, former detainees and their families with one simple belief: every person deserves dignity, compassion and the chance to reconnect and rebuild.

We remain the only organisation in the ACT solely dedicated to supporting people impacted by the criminal justice system, and we are proud to continue this vital work.

Many of the people we support are facing crisis, isolation, homelessness, financial hardship or uncertainty about where to turn next. A small amount of timely support can make a real difference.

Your donation helps us provide practical, compassionate assistance to people in prison, people leaving custody, people attending court and families affected by imprisonment.

This may include emergency food, transport, release support, clothing, toiletries, court support, family assistance and connection to other services.
