Punctum is a small arts organisation based regionally on the unceded lands of the Djaara People whose cultural authority informs our relationships and connection to place.
Two streams of practice inform our year-round activities within regional communities, with artists and artisans, partners, researchers, knowledge holders, and participants.
PUNCTUM PRODUCTIONS: collaborative productions expressing narratives of transformation and potential. We draw from our context of complex interconnectedness, divergence, displacement, mobility, and climate crisis, to better understand the nature of resilient societies.
PUNCTUM PROGRAMS: co-created programs interrogating regionally based systems of artistic opportunity and distribution. We take a whole-of-system view, offering practice advancement and presentation opportunities through values based and artist-centred hosting, in accessible, safe spaces for artistic risk taking and audience adventure.
In their many creative expressions, we understand that our productions and programs offer hope and safe regional spaces to grow relationships, a sense of belonging, trust, networks, and professional trajectories to employment and leadership.
Your donation will allow us to continue working to generate positive change, social cohesion, and resilience in our challenging times.

Punctum is located on the unceded lands of the Djaara people of the Kulin Nation – the traditional custodians of the land and waterways where we live and work, and for whom time and space is a continuum informing all we do and who we are. We acknowledge the Djaara people’s living culture, their long and rich history of making on Country, their sovereignty and right to self-determination. We pay our respects to their elders past and present and extend this respect to all First Nations people.
