The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation is now known as the Children's Health Foundation. With the help of the community, we're continuing to fund research and to support the Hospital as it provides the highest level of care for sick kids. The Children's Health Foundation will be able to do even more at a community level as we work wonders for sick kids right throughout Queensland.
How will the funds be used?
Your support really does make a difference to sick and injured children at the Royal Children's Hospital! Thanks to community support, the RCH Foundation is able to "value add" to the hospital's available funding from government. In the 2001/2002 financial year, the RCH Foundation raised a total of $7.1m. This phenomenal community generosity helped the hospital acquire hi-technology equipment and better facilities, and to continue vital research into serious childhood illnesses and injuries, it could otherwise not afford.
