The bush needs more doctors, nurses and allied health workers. Without them, the sustainability of many small towns is seriously compromised. With your help, Rural Health Workforce (RHW) can make a difference.
We are a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on getting health professionals like GPs into places where they are needed. This includes encouraging the next generation of rural health leaders.
How will the funds be used?
We have established a national fund that supports projects such as:
- University bursaries for rural students
- Research into community health needs
- Rural placements for university health students
