Sir Roden Cutler Charities is also known as the charity that helps other charities. In 2007, more than 50 charitable causes in communities all around NSW received donations through the Special Circumstances Grants Scheme.
Sir Roden Cutler Charities relies overwhelmingly on the generosity of the corporate sector and private donations. Your donation will help us to help when there is no one else who can.
Pick Me Up Service:- Sir Roden Cutler Charities drives for free the seriously or terminally ill, children, elderly or disabled (including mental health) to and from their medical appointments. Our passengers are too ill or frail for public transport or taxis. Many, especially the elderly, do not have family support to assist them during these times. Many of our passengers are cancer patients requiring daily radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
Special Circumstances Grant Scheme: Applications are received from health care professionals for assistance to people when there is no one else to help them. Examples include: medical equipment, hearing aids, Christmas present money for a young family with a dying mother, travel costs for respite, electric wheelchair and scooter, small grants for vehicle wheelchair conversions.
Caring for Carers: Personal assistance and costs related to respite transport.
