The Housing Network - Affordable rental housing with a difference

Under the banner of The Housing Network, Rural Housing Network provides community housing - affordable rental housing with a difference.

Community housing is different to public housing and private rental. It offers a secure and affordable housing option for people on low to moderate incomes, and is managed by a community organisation. In this case the housing offered is either owned or managed by The Housing Network.

With up-to-date, well maintained properties located throughout the Hume region of Victoria, we aim to house people in the community of their choice. The Housing Network is committed to increasing the supply of affordable housing and works with many other community organisations to encourage sustainable, long-term tenancies.

How will the funds be used?

The Housing Network will continue to build quality housing throughout the Hume region. Using a combination of government, private and philanthropic funds, we will build dwellings for a variety of household types, giving more people access to secure, affordable housing.

The purchase of land and construction of homes.
