Support Sharehood Communities

The Sharehood's mission is to build joyful, sustainable and resilient communities by encouraging people to get to know their neighbours and share with them. As with any endeavour, we require funding to make it all happen... We're currently dependent on grants, but any extra money along the way helps out a lot with our non-project related costs.

How will the funds be used?

Funds will go towards paying our one day a week staff member to work extra days and continue working for the Sharehood into next year. The job involves supporting Sharehoodsters in their community building, creating partnerships with other community organisations to promote the Sharehood, applying for grants, answering our emails, organising events and a lot more.

Of course most of these jobs are done largely by volunteers, but having a paid staff member with dedicated time for the Sharehood each week ensures our continuity and greatly extends our reach.
