About this cause
In response to overwhelming community support to develop a hospice in Swan Hill, SHDH is now accepting donations to aid this cause.

The campaign to bring a hospice to Swan Hill has been led by Loretta Belton and Gaynor Hayward, who have recently lost loved ones that passed away at a hospice, located more than 180km away from their home.

They emphasised how amazing of a place it was to be during such a devastating time, and that there was a need for this service in Swan Hill.

During what is already a difficult experience, travelling to visit your loved ones can be exhausting for both the visitors and the patient.

A new aged care facility for SHDH is in development, and the current building has been identified as a possible location for a hospice, once the development is complete in 2016.
