State Theatre Company of South Australia is the state's flagship professional theatre company performing an annual season of classic and contemporary Australian and international theatre works at its main performance home - the Dunstan Playhouse.

We exist to create great theatre that is stunning, entertaining and challenging, but we cannot do this alone. In fact, our continued ability to give back through the magic of live theatre depends upon the generous support that we receive from you. Government funding only covers 50% of our operational expenses each year. Therefore every donation - great or small - has a real impact on the work that we do.

KEY AREAS OF EXPENDITURE

When you support State Theatre Company your generous contribution ensures that we can continue to:

• Produce and present high quality entertaining theatre for South Australians.
• Provide valuable professional development and learning experiences for the next generation of South Australian artists and theatre practitioners.
• Commission new Australian works.
• Provide South Australian teachers and students with opportunities to deepen their understanding and enjoyment of the arts through live performances, tailored workshops and work experience programs.
• Provide all South Australians with the ability to access the magic of live theatre through our regional touring program.
• Provide opportunities for economically disadvantaged members of our community to attend State Theatre Company performances.
• Deliver audio described and captioned performances for those theatre lovers who experience vision or hearing impairments so they can continue experiencing the magic of live theatre.
