We need your support to continue campaigning against the cruel and unnecessary practice of live animal exports. Over a million sheep, cattle, and buffalo, are transported by sea on voyages lasting up to five weeks, to countries where we realistically have no control over their handling and slaughter. Goats, camels, alpacas (as well as more sheep and cattle) are also exported by air. Around sixty per cent of them will have their throats cut whilst fully conscious, and thousands will die horrific, prolonged deaths on board the ships from respiratory disease, heat stress, salmonellosis and injuries.
How will the funds be used?
The funds raised go towards our campaign activities including community outreach, raising public awareness, leafletting, political lobbying, conducting media events and the materials required for those activities.
Only through public pressure and political process will this trade ever be stopped.
