StreetSmart Australia

Give a One Off Donation Give a Regular Donation

Thank you for donating to StreetSmart Australia. With your help we assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, some of our community's most vulnerable. We do this through supporting smaller grassroots organisations and projects. These organisations do not often have the connections, capacity or skills to fundraise independently but through StreetSmart you can partner with us to fund these critical and innovative services.

How will the funds be used?

To date we have raised $1.6 million and 100% of your donation will be distributed through our community grants system. Our grants are targeted at providing vital support services such as meals and accommodation and also help tackle homelessness through innovative strategies that promote social inclusion and empowerment for those people experiencing homelessness. You will also support longer term solutions to help people move out of homelessness.

Examples of previous projects include the Footpath Library, Oz harvest, The Choir of Hard Knocks, The Big Issue, The Street Socceroos, youth refuges, women's refuges, food rescue and food programs. In all StreetSmart has funded over 272 projects around Australia.
