The St Vincent de Paul Society is a community-based organisation that has been assisting the marginalised and disadvantaged across the world for over 180 years.
We provide assistance to 400,000 people in NSW alone every year. Our services aim to help people experiencing poverty, homelessness, family violence, disability, mental health, addiction, and unemployment throughout Australia.
As a national grassroots volunteer and member based organisation, the driving force of the St Vincent de Paul Society is our 40,000 members and volunteers nationally who undertake life-changing work in every Australian community every single day.
People are assisted by the Society either by Conference members or through one of our Special Works. A Special Work is a specialised service that is tailored to meet the needs of a specific client base.
