For 40 years, Sydney Chamber Choir has been presenting highly-praised performances of fine choral music. We perform concerts in Sydney, regional NSW and beyond, often collaborating with some of Australia’s finest conductors, vocal soloists and instrumentalists. The choir is both a leader in historically-informed performance of Baroque and earlier repertoire, and highly regarded for its many commissions and premieres of new works by Australian composers. 

Repertoire of this scale requires major financial resources, and like many other arts organisations, box office revenue is insufficient to cover all of our operating expenses. As a result we rely on private philanthropists, corporate sponsors and other generous donors to continue facilitating our performances.

Sydney Chamber Choir is a not-for-profit organisation managed by a volunteer committee. Support of generous individuals genuinely transforms our ability to present the finest choral concerts in Sydney and beyond.

We are immensely grateful for all contributions, and a gift of any level makes a real difference to our activities. To give you an idea of how your support helps us, here are a few examples:

• $100-$200 provides music hire for a concert.
• $1,000 contributes to the engagement of one or more professional artists.
• $4,000 means we can commission new works and support Australian composers.

Donations of $2 or more are fully tax-deductible. All donors will be acknowledged in our printed concert programs and on our website unless you advise us that you prefer not to be acknowledged by name.
