After 21 years of civil war in Sudan the literacy rate in South Sudan is less than 30%, childhood mortality is 12% and more than 4 million Sudanese have been displaced from their homes. By involving local and international communities, Timpir strives to achieve education, health care and human rights.
How will the funds be used?
Timpir supports grassroots projects in South Sudan such as Waramoth Primary School which is run for the community by local community members with financial support and guidance from Timpir.
Key Areas of Expenditure
Supporting local schools (i.e. Waramoth Primary School)
Improving access to health care and prevention (i.e. provision of mosquito nets)
