TNC's programs and services include:

• Responding to community requests for help - we understand the need, assess how support can be provided and then provide information, specific assistance and referrals to help; this might include things like:
  • Referrals to specialised services
  • Crisis food assistance
  • Access to Oz Harvest
  • Access to non-perishable food hampers and frozen meals
  • Emergency relief appointments
  • Assistance with energy bills
• Children's activities and events like playgroup, kids' holiday activities
• Building community connections with other local community groups for the benefit of our local community
• Running "pop up" TNC information sessions at local schools and pre-schools
• Providing parenting workshops and evidence-based programs
• Providing community meals and access to laundry facilities for vulnerable and homeless people

Whilst we receive some government funding for these services, it is just not enough! The need is constantly growing in the current economic climate. There is an increase demand for information, referral and support. More and more people are experiencing housing instability, food insecurity and calling on us for help. TNC's government funding doesn't cover basic expenses like rent!
