
Tweddle are a not for profit, accredited health service providing a highly valued public access service to vulnerable and at-risk parents and their children. Families that turn to us are often facing one or more complex issues such as mental illness, drug and alcohol dependancy and domestic voilence. Additional funds mean we can assist more families and protect more children.
Tweddle develop parenting programs and conduct research with leading universities that deliver evidence based services for at-risk parents and their children. Funds will be used to pilot programs and to introduce new services for the 4,000+ families that we support each year.
Tweddle employ Maternal & Child Health Nurses, midwives, peri-natal psychologists, social workers, paediatric nurses, lactation consultants, early childhood professionals and research staff. Key areas of expenditure include the recruitment of appropriately trained health professionals to develop important new programs for vulnerable families.
