Umoja Orphanage Kenya

OUR VISION: Together we achieve the extraordinary

BE PART OF THE BIG PICTURE It takes a whole village to raise a child (African proverb)

Who are we helping?

We are purpose building a children's village for orphaned and vulnerable children which will be a highly self-sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, energy efficient, eco-friendly home.

1 child every 14 seconds in our world becomes an orphan. Imagine for 1 moment, no one single person in your life to love or care for you. Orphans face a life in the depths of despair, having their childhoods ripped from them, without hope of ever being part of a family unit and being loved and nurtured enough to reach their full potential. Imagine being abandoned or dumped because no one could look after you. It is hard to imagine, but it is happening every day. Once the founder witnessed the horrors above, Umoja Orphanage Kenya was born.  With over 1.2 million orphans in Kenya, we are helping give our future children back their childhoods, be educated freely until adulthood, and above all be loved.  Umoja intends to focus on the whole child¹s needs incuding emotional, spiritual, and physical.

What can you do?
