The Nullabor Bike Ride for sQuareOne

About this cause
In less than a month's time Alex McCredie and a friend will tackle the amazing challenge of riding across the vast Nullabor plains on just a pair of bikes. They're not only riding to fulfill their deep need for a great, masochistic adventure, but to raise money for the sQuareOne Youth Media and Arts Space.

Opening in the CBD later this year, sQuareOne is a youth-run media and arts space dedicated to supporting the culture and media makers of the next generation. It will provide Sydney's emerging digital artists, project initiators, media-makers, freelancers and creative collectives with the infrastructure, equipment and guidance to support the turning of their passions into sustainable practices. sQuareOne is one large, shared, high-end office space with experienced young staff, digital workstations, phones, printers and beanbags - all available at ridiculously affordable rates. It's a hub: a meeting point for Sydney's diverse creative young communities to grow new ideas for their city.

sQuareOne is managed by Vibewire Youth Services, a leading, national youth-run organisation with a proven track record in building opportunities for young people to express themselves in their own ways. The initiative has been researched and developed for the past two years and exists to provide sorely lacking infrastructure for Sydney's emerging thinkers and makers to give their social and creative initiatives a chance.
