Our main enclosure has older Kangaroos, and our smaller enclosure with two yards receives the joeys when they are of age. By joining the two, we create a huge area, with separate sections we can close for new arrivals and to assist in the capture of any who require hands-on treatment, without causing myopthy.
We also need to build up the bank, just a little, as our funds are low and vet bills can be a difficulty. Two of the youngest joeys need de-sexing as well.
We already work hard to cover the day-to-day running costs of around $400 a week or more, so getting on top, and covering the required expansion is not so easy.
