Williamstown Literary Festival

Give a One Off Donation Give a Regular Donation

The WillyLitFest is a community run literary festival aimed at increasing the enjoyment and benefit of reading and writing to the western suburbs of Melbourne (and beyond). In particular, the festival promotes writing and reading to younger audiences in the area. The festival also promotes local writers and gives them access to a professionally run event.

How will the funds be used?

Donations are used to ensure that the festival can continue to provide a very cheap but professionally run event that encourages participation for all in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The festival is not government funded, and is run by volunteers.

Key areas of expenditure

WillyLitFest tickets are kept very low deliberately to ensure ease of access to all people living in the western suburbs to a professionally run and friendly annual event. Funds raised will ensure that this can continue to be the case, but also to provide additional funding for writers of young adult works.

Are donations tax deductible? Yes

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
