WIRES Wildlife Rescue Van Appeal

WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue & Education Service Inc) is the largest wildlife rescue charity in Australia. We have an established network of volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, injured or orphaned native wildlife.
As the demand for our services rises and the demands on our volunteers reach critical levels we have made the decision to purchase two rescue vans to help with metropolitan rescues to improve the outcomes for injured wildlife and alleviate the pressures on our volunteer animal rescuers.

How will the funds be used?

The cost of running these vans and the rescue service they will provide is substantial.
We are asking for public help to keep this service on the road and available to rescue injure, sick and orphaned wildlife with faster response times, and an alleviation of pressure on our dedicated volunteers.
