How Do We Spend Your Money?

Yooralla is one of Victoria's oldest non-profit community service providers celebrating 90 years of service in 2008. Yooralla assists Victorians who live with a disability acquired from birth, accident, ill-health or ageing. Yooralla offers pre-school, school aged and adult therapy services, residential accommodation, respite in and out of home, equipment, advocacy, employment and recreation services.

How will the funds be used?

Sometimes we spend your donations on paying therapists, the people who work in our hoses, or other support workers; they all provide direct services to Victorians with disabilities. Other times, we spend them on transport to enable Yooralla workers to get around the State to see the people who need these services. Then there are times when Yooralla services centres, kindergartens, supported employment factories, residential houses and offices require structural maintenance so they can continue to house and administer the services safely and effectively. But in every instance, the final beneficiaries of your donations are Victorian families that have a family member, or members with a disability.
