Avon Youth Community and Family Services provides support services to disadvantaged and at risk youth in the Northam area. We provide interim accommodation, case managed support and group activities designed to promote the wellbeing and development of youth in the community. We accept referrals from the Dept for Child Protection, The Dept of Justice, referrals from family and friends, and self referrals. Our current premises are very small and we have received some funding to assist us in moving to a larger building so that we can increase the range and level of service that we provide. The funding we have received has covered most of the restoration of the new premises, but has not covered any of the fit out. We are collecting funds to facilitate and complete the move into the new premises.
