The Shalom Institute

For 70 years, AUJS has trained and developed Jewish student leaders across Australia and New Zealand, and produced some of the most outstanding trailblazers in the Jewish and wider Australian community.

Paul Bassat founder of Seek, Mark Regev current Ambassador of Israel to the United Kingdom, Michael Danby MP Federal Member for Melbourne Ports and many of the leaders of the Jewish communal organisations, including Sam Tatarka Past President of Zionism Victoria and Jennifer Huppert President of the JCCV, spent significant time in the playground of AUJS.

As AUJS is led by students for students, the executives in AUJS develop fundamental skills associated with running coordinated nationwide campaigns, conferences, social and political initiatives, all while engaging with complex issues revolving around their Jewish identity.

Your donation will go directly towards the running and improvement of our major leadership initiatives, including our Leadership Development Program, Political Training Seminar, AUJS Summer and AUJS Winter.

Your investment in AUJS is an investment in empowering and upskilling young Jews to take active leadership roles in Jewish life. It is an investment in our community's capital, and our capacity for creativity, which is necessary to secure our collective future.

With your help, we can grow Australia's Jewish student movement and build a brighter future for the Australian Jewish community

On behalf of the AUJS team, I thank you in anticipation of your generosity.
