Australians Caring for Children (ACC) is a non denominational organisation whose main aim is to provide financial and other support to orphanages and children homes in developing countries providing shelter, education and medical care to orphaned and abandoned children.
These children are the most vulnerable in society, with no voice and no entitlements.
During the latest global recession, many of the countries we work in lost their financial support from the World Bank resulting in huge reduction of government funding to the orphanages.
ACC currently supports three orphanages in Colombia, three orphanages in Bolivia and two orphanages in India.
ACC is manned by volunteers, so all the funds raised through donations and sponsorships are used to improve the lives of the children we support.
