Australian Museum Foundation

Your contribution to the Australian Museum Foundation enables the Australian Museum (AM) to:

  • remain at the forefront of Australian scientific research
  • acquire and safely preserve specimens and cultural artefacts for generations to enjoy
  • respect and affirm Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural values, practices and stories
  • offer education programs to young people including those in regional and rural Australia.

Philanthropic support has become an important source of funding to enable the AM to provide programs and services that would otherwise not be possible.

With your support, the Australian Museum Foundation can continue to support the exceptional work of our inspiring scientists, explorers and educators as they help to protect Australia's and the Pacific's vital natural and cultural heritage for generations to come.

The Australian Museum Foundation (ABN 64 497 967 210) is a charitable trust, the purpose of which is to ensure a secure financial base for the Australian Museum and the Museum is its sole legal beneficiary.
