What is it?
Care Farming is the well-recognised practice of utilising the natural environment, the landscape, farming practices and engagement with plants and animals as part of a comprehensive plan to support positive wellbeing and mental health.
The Care Farm provides health, social and educational care services for at-risk and vulnerable people through supervised, structured programs. Cafs Care Farm offers a range of different activities for groups and individuals, all of which are designed to help develop confidence and to deliver improved self-worth and better social outcomes.
Where is it?
Located in Springmount between Daylesford and Creswick (just 20 minutes from Ballarat) the Cafs Care Farm is set upon 8 acres.
How can you help?
We need your help to keep our farm gates open to those who need it most. Donations, sponsorship and in-kind support will help us to develop the Care Farm as well as a number of new and innovative activities to support children, young people and families in need.
