Woof!
My name is Ted. I'm not sure of my breed (I was rescued from the pound) but I am a special member of the Conservation Ecology Centre's Conservation Dog team, working with my mates to find Tiger Quoll poo for DNA analysis. Time is running out for Tiger Quolls - we need to find them and we need some help. I have this great idea to share with you!
The teams' training is going really well and we all have our final assessments scheduled for September, after which we will be deployable, using minimal environmental impact methods to work in sensitive bushland areas on these important surveys to detect Tiger Quoll activity. This will mean that important conservation efforts can be directed where they are needed most. The thing is we need some funding to complete our expert tuition and get us out there working on the frontline. We'd love you to help us to finish off our training and start doing our surveys.
The Tiger Quolls really are in trouble - please join us in saving them. The humans in the team will be sure to send you updates on how your support has helped.
Wags,
Ted
