B'nai B'rith Courage to Care (Vic) Inc.

Travelling Educational Exhibition & Program

Courage to Care is an Educational Exhibition Program which travels throughout regional Victoria and Melbourne to educate Australians, especially students, about the consequences of racism and bigotry, and promote the importance of being an Upstander in the face of prejudice, discrimination, bullying and injustice.

The workshop program:
  • emphasises respect and acceptance of others
  • spotlights the extraordinary actions of ordinary people who acted at great risk to themselves and their families to save others
  • makes lessons from the past relevant to today through facilitated discussion
  • empowers students to stand up for what they know is right
  • encourages an informed, tolerant and diverse Australian society
The work of Courage to Care relies on the efforts of volunteers, and our workshop programs are provided to all schools at no cost. In 2013, Courage to Care Victoria received the Multicultural Commission of Victoria Award for Excellence in Education.

Consider making a regular donation. Whether it is $10 or $100, it is not the size of the donation as its regularity that will sustain our ongoing work in schools throughout Victoria.

Acknowledgements will be sent for donations made in honour of a life event or in memoriam.
