Cycling is my happy place! I love nothing more than adventuring on two wheels, whether it be on road or on gravel, with my partner or with a group, if I'm exploring new places by bicycle I feel alive.
Why have I signed up for Tour de OROC 2024 ..... I love a challenge!! I will get to explore places I've never been before, I will experience the beauty of the countryside, I will meet new people, I will have another adventure, I will create memories AND, most importantly, I will be supporting an important organistaion for western NSW. Working for the medicine faculty at Sydney University I have an affiliation with Dubbo Clinical School and have been told about the importance of Dubbo Macquarie Home Stay for the region. The Home Stay makes a traumatic hospital experience just a little less stressful, by taking away the worry of finding somewhere to stay. They provide a fantastic service to residents living in the areas through which we will ride, providing short-term accommodation for patients and their fanilires who need to use Dubbo Base Hospital. The demand for this service is rapidly growing in line with the expansion of Dubbo Base Hospital, further funding is required to improve and expand the number of available rooms.
Help me to help the people of the Orana region by supporting my ride, making even the smallest donation will make a difference.
Thank you :-)
