Preventable injuries are the leading cause of death for Australian children aged 1-14 years and one of the leading causes of hospitalisation.

Every week across the country, 3 children are killed from preventable injuries.

In Victoria, approximately 20 children aged 0-14 years die and over 100,000 are treated in hospital each year, with children under the age of 5 most at risk. Kidsafe exists to prevent these tragedies. When families lose a child, it sends a ripple effect through a community and lives are instantly changed. While our focus at Kidsafe Victoria is prevention, we also support families who have been forever impacted by child injury.

None of us ever think that we will be "the one" that tragedy happens to, but what if you were? This May, for National Kidsafe Day and in support of our Night of Hope Gala Ball, we're asking for your help.
