River's Gift

Uniting for Charlie - Great Ocean Road Running Festival 2019

River’s Gift was established in November 2011, to raise funds for research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The charity was created in honour of River Jak Adam Waddell, son of Alex and Karl Waddell, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep. The organisation has grown rapidly over the past seven years and is now overseen by a Board of Directors. Additionally, it is supported by an Advisory Board and a number of dedicated volunteers. Having raised over $1 million to date, we’ve formed a solid Australian footprint in the world of SIDS Research.

River's Gift are honoured to come together with the Rutherford family in Ballarat and host the “Uniting for Charlie” run training program, as a lead-in to the Great Ocean Road Running Festival in May this year. "Uniting for Charlie" honours Charlie Rutherford, who tragically lost her life at only 5 months of age, suddenly and unexpectedly in April 2015.

I am raising funds for Uniting for Charlie - Great Ocean Road Running Festival 2019 because I am inspired by their work. The difference they have made to so many people is just extraordinary and I know there are so many others that would benefit from their work. But they need more funding to make that happen. So please support their work by donating to my CrowdRaiser, as I know they will appreciate every cent received. And I will be very grateful for your contribution too!

Also, I would be very grateful for you to share the link to this CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. The more people who can help the better!

Thank you
