Simply make a $10 donation to Djirra and send us a reciept of your donation to either carlton@assemblystore or DM us a screenshot on Instagram @assemblystoreau . You'll go in the running to win a year subscription to our coffee service. Each fortnight we'll send you a delicous, freshly roasted 250 gram bag of coffee roasted for filter or espresso, ground or whole beans - however you like it, straight to your home! The more you donate, the more chances you have to win - ($10 = one ticket $50 = five tickets). Donations go directly to Djirra.

Djirra works towards Aboriginal women and their children being strong in identity, thriving in culture and living free from violence and disadvantage through culturally safe frontline services, prevention programs and advocacy for change. Djirra is a place where culture is shared and celebrated. 

Djirra also designs and delivers early intervention and prevention programs, and undertakes policy and advocacy work to identify systemic issues for law reform.

Djirra's culturally safe and wrap-around services include:

Frontline legal and non-legal assistance – focusing predominantly on family violence, child protection, family law and victims of crime assistance;
Outreach to women in prison;
Family violence early intervention and prevention programs;
Community education and cultural awareness training; and
Policy, advocacy and law reform.
