Supporting Psychology for a Safe Climate

Psychology for a Safe Climate

HEART for climate action

Hello friends,

I am raising funds for Psychology for a Safe Climate (PSC) because I deeply resonate with their work. Like the members of PSC, I have a strong love for the earth alongside a growing grief of the impacts of climate degradation on the earth and it's inhabitants. I am inspired by PSC's work of offering resources of resilience and care to those impacted by climate disasters, ecoanxiety and those working to protect the climate in activism spaces. Whilst not a member of the team, I have been watching their movements for a while and am excited to raise funds for a not-for-profit whose work I envision to become increasingly more vital.

As someone with a wild love for the earth and passion for improving the mental wellbeing of others, I hope that you will support me in raising money. I truly believe that, to become informed caretakers of this earth, we must come to learn our inherent belonging to the earth, to each other, to our physical bodies and to the Indigenous histories of this land.

Whilst COVID-19 is keeping us physically separate and potentially exacerbating challenging mental health experiences, I see this fundraiser as a perfect opportunity to deepen that sense of belonging. By donating and signing up for HEART for Climate Action 10 days of Creative Care, you'll receive daily invitations to deepen your connection with the earth and your own inner world. I'll be signing up too and sharing my journey with all the other souls participating from 20th August- 30th August. A second round of this nurtuing invitation will be offered from 20th September- 30th September, but you can sign up and participate anytime.

Any amount that you can give, I know, will be greatly appreciated by PSC. I hope that you will come on this journey to deepening appreciation and presence with nature. Now, more than ever, nature offers the pathway to being at home with ourselves and the world.

I would be very grateful for you to share the link to this CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. The more people who can help the better!

Thank you dearly.
