Coastal Waste Warriors (CWW) was formed in late 2018 and incorporated in 2020. We have conducted 26 cleanup events, averaging 87 attendees, removing over 2.5 tonnes of litter from Mandurah waterways and beaches. Our key objectives:
•Conserving our natural environment and marine life through organised cleanups.
•Connecting with the community, educating and raising awareness about the negative impacts of littering on our natural environment and marine life, inspiring them to be part of the solution.
•Collecting data about litter collected into the Tangaroa Blue database to drive source reduction initiatives.
•Working in partnership with other community groups e.g. MEHG, WASR.
