Mu'ooz Restaurant & Catering is a not-for-profit social enterprise located in Brisbane's south. We have been operating in Moorooka for 6 years and currently are purchasing a new business in West End.

The aim of the restaurant is to give  employment, work experience and training to disadvantaged refugee and migrant women. To date we  have had 74 women come through the restaurant. Of these 97% are now employed with other businesses. Our social return on investment as calculated by Social Ventures Australia is valued at $2.78 for every $1 invested.

We have had the fantastic opportunity to purchase a new and more prominent premises in the multicultural and vibrant West End.

We are needing assistance with the cost of refurbishments in the immediate future and ongoing donations for training and assistance for new arrivals to Brisbane. Mu'ooz also helps women break down the cultural and language barriers which impede social integration, and to help in the healing process.
