Geoff Rasmussen worked continuously to improve the lives of others and made an enormous contribution to his community through his philanthropic endeavours. To continue his legacy, the Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship has been established by Geoff's family (Bronwyn, Sami, Sophie and Josh) with the support of Azure Capital, to assist students who have faced significant challenges in their lives to complete their studies at the University of Western Australia.

The perpetual scholarship will cover tuition fees for the full length of their selected undergraduate degree, with scope to cover additional expenses such as materials and accommodation, if required. The scholarship will be awarded to a Year 12 student enrolled at a Western Australian Secondary School who has successfully obtained entry to an undergraduate degree at the University of Western Australia. Potential recipients will be identified with the support of The Smith Family and Youth Focus, and mentoring will be provided by Azure Capital throughout the scholarship.
