"We are needing support now as prevention is better than cure" ~ Juliet, Program Manager, Adelaide Mbale Children's Health Fund
UGANDA: 42 million people ~ 35 ICU beds

Adelaide Mbale Children's Health Fund are seeking your support for donations to respond to this emerging crisis in a country of 42 million, a myriad of underlying health issues (malaria, pneumonia, HIV, TB), inadequate health system, and just 35 ICU beds with ventilation capacity.

Our Community Health Workers are best placed to provide immediate response reaching across 28 communities and are seeking urgent support for preventative measures including handwashing stations, soap distribution, food distribution and PPE (personal protective equipment) for our health team.

We recognise the financial hardship that many Australian’s are experiencing at the moment, and absolutely understand if you are unable to give at this time. Thank you to those who have been able to contribute so far.

Stay safe everyone.
