QUEENSLAND IS EXPERIENCING UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND FOR FOOD RELIEF

Before the COVID-19 emergency, 1 in 5 Australian families were already struggling to put food on the table.

Foodbank Queensland is the state’s largest hunger relief organisation, and since COVID-19 has seen a staggering increase in demand for food relief – a level of demand which has not been seen in their 25 history.

The most vulnerable people in our communities need your help more than ever, and as unemployment figures rise and the true economic cost of COVID-19 is revealed, the need will increase!

Navigating a health pandemic has been a challenging balancing act for Foodbank Queensland. Whilst demand has increased,  supply has decreased due to panic buying and business shutdowns.

We need your help to ensure no Queenslander goes without food. For every $1 donation, Foodbank Queensland can create 2 nutritional meals for Queenslanders in need.
