Peninsula Caring is a grass roots collaborative project housed within Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre in response to the Covid-19 (Corona) virus to coordinate volunteers to help people impacted by social distance and isolation protocols.  We cover the suburbs of Annandale, Balmain, Rozelle, Birchgrove, East Balmain, Leichhardt, Lilyfield and surrounds.

The program offers a free service to locals to assist with shopping, chemist pick ups, coordinating free hampers and weekly social check in phone calls.

As a grass roots collaboration supporting the community, we foster the skills, talents, passion and networks of residents, volunteers, local business in conjunction charities and government agencies across the Inner West to support the immediate needs and wellbeing of locals who need our help.

We are seeking help to continue supporting locals with donations of pantry items, donations of funds, sponsorship and volunteers and to cover the costs of personal protective equipment and costs associated with coordination of the service.
