COVID-19 has affected WA Grief Support though the cancellation of our grief support services to the community including weekly support groups, face-to-face counselling, creative workshops, community information and training, and meditation classes.  The Centre quickly re-focused our attention to move as many services as possible on-line however these are being run without financial support of any kind.  In addition we have also launched a new support group for General Grief and Loss in acknowledgement that the changes brought about by COVID-19 such as job losses, family breakdown, isolation from loved ones and economic hardship can all be experienced as grief.  The Grief Centre is proud to have survived and thrived for 5yrs without recurrent funding or grants to support our work in support of people struggling with grief.

NB: WA Grief Support trades as “The Grief Centre of Western Australia”.
