Youth Projects operates The Living Room - an innovative, free primary health service for people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. A unique place makes people feel welcome and respected, providing access to a GP, seeing a nurse, charging your phone, taking a shower, washing your clothes, getting something to eat and reducing social isolation. Through the provision of free access to health and social support services we focus on the social determinants of health, to look beyond illness or disease to see the whole person.

We also deliver a range of unique early intervention supports for young people in Melbourne's North West, from mental health, counselling, life skills, education and employment.

We continue to deliver over 350 tele health appointments each week to young people. And we refuse to close our primary health care and drop in space, supporting over 50 people each day in need of food, mental health supports, a GP or nurse.

Our top priority right now is increased our donations to fund the surge in demand, from additional food, to additional health care equipment.
