In 2010 the United Nations recognised access to sanitation and hygiene as a basic human right. However, billions of people around the world do not have access to these basic services. This impacts on the health and wellbeing of communities as disease spreads, work productivity decreases and children's growth and development is stunted. HAT is doing it's part to reduce this burden by building accommodation facilities for medical officers in Mumuhumba, a village in rural Tanzania. This will provide the continuity of care and community access to the medical facility in this remote area. Help us build a world where everyone has access to primary health care by donating to the Mumuhumba accommodation project.
