The University of Sydney is pleased to partner with CMT Australia's research objectives to explore the acute effects of Interset Rest Resistance Training on fatigue and affective responses in people with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease.
Without a cure being available as yet, treatment for people with CMT is focused on enabling an improvement in their health-related quality of life through means of supportive management. Exercise is an important component of this treatment. But what form should this exercise take for maximum benefit without excessive fatigue.
Whilst the project is dependent upon willing participants, it also has associated costs. CMT Australia has kicked of this project with seed funding of $10,000. This CrowdRaiser seeks to raise the balance project funding of $8,600 so we can deliver the outcomes as soon as possible.
We invite your support as either a participant or a funancial partner. We would also be grateful if you to share the link to this CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. The more people who can help the better!
