Help JOY Media broadcast live on the road, raising awareness and bringing JOY wherever we go!

JOY Media is Australia's LGBTQIA+ community media organisation, here to amplify LGBTQIA+ voices through trusted, representative media. We want to be able to reach into the furthest flung areas across Victoria and beyond, unrestricted by the need to bring guests to our Melbourne studios.

Together we share the stories, lived experiences and community connection that only live conversations can bring.

But to be able to deliver this in-person connection... we need a van!

A fully fitted-out broadcast-capable van will enable JOY to visit any location or event to cover the big stories and community events as they happen. This will ensure that the voices of our diverse LGBTQIA+ communities are heard, breaking down isolation, combating loneliness and improving mental health by facilitating community connection.

The political landscape is challenging for LGBTQIA+ people right now. With queer voices being left out of traditional media, the truth can be hard to find, making connection to authentic community more important than ever. JOY brings that community connection and pride, live and in real time, no matter where you live.
