# GiveNow

> GiveNow is an Australian all-in-one online giving platform for charities, not-for-profits and community groups. Donors can give to a listed cause, start or support a CrowdRaiser, buy event tickets and memberships, or donate goods and time. Organisations can list a cause, collect one-off and regular donations, run crowdfunding campaigns, sell tickets and memberships, and embed donation forms on their own website. GiveNow is a social enterprise of Our Community Group and is designed for grassroots organisations, with low fees and no lock-in contracts.

Key things to know about GiveNow:

- Australian-only: causes are run by Australian charities, not-for-profits and community groups, and donations are in AUD.
- Donations to causes with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status are tax-deductible; DGR status is shown on each cause page.
- "CrowdRaiser" is GiveNow's peer-to-peer fundraising feature — an individual or team fundraises on behalf of a listed cause.
- "Other Ways to Give" lists non-cash giving: goods, blood, time and volunteering, bequests, shares and land.
- Cause pages live at the root of the domain (givenow.com.au/<cause-url>), and CrowdRaiser pages at givenow.com.au/cr/<crowdraiser-url>. These are created by organisations and fundraisers and change frequently, so they are not enumerated here.
