Immagined being removed from school by your parent to marry, or just simply because the cultural is belief is that an educated woman does not respect men. And as a house wife women put all their resources and energy for their family upbring when men are out there drinking and coming home late. This why we belief if women are educated they will use their skills and resources for the betterment of their household and community, thus improving lives and reducing poverty as well. This what Magwi Development agency Australia Inc would like to combat with your help. Bellow are some of the reasons for this effort: Improve the attitudes and behaviours of South Sudanese community and other groups in relation to education and training for women and girls
Build girls' life skills through school attendance and life skills training
Development women skills as a mean of addressing standard of living and poverty issues,
Campaign against early marriage and create awareness on the importance of schooling for girls.
The fund will be use solely to go toward establish adult education programs to help skill up girls either removed from schools due to early marriage or cultural belief, as well as support girls who are still in school systems to conitinue on with their eduucation.
This fund will be used for purchased of school materials, such as computers, stationery and also for construction of adult education centre.
