We are delighted to announce that the Phil Taylor Foundation has committed to providing a substantial donation for a matched fundraising campaign this end of financial year.

Donate to The Boite by June 22 and every dollar you donate will be matched up to $25,000. This is a fabulous opportunity to ensure your donation goes twice as far in supporting Boite programs.

Last year, The Boite celebrated 45 years with a huge concert at Collingwood Town Hall featuring artists spanning our entire history. For, now 46 years, The Boite has enriched and broadened Melbourne and Victoria’s live music landscape with truly representative programming, and continues to challenge assumptions around the boundaries of genre, culture and tradition.

This is an extraordinary achievement for a small non-profit organisation, and it is thanks in no small part to the dedicated and discerning community we have nurtured, and the support you have provided, so thank you.
 
In 2024 we;

• Engaged 180 singers from across Victoria to learn songs in language from Torres Strait Islands singer Deb Lowah Clark and perform them on stage with Deb and Acclaimed Singer, Christine Anu at the Melbourne Recital Centre as part of our Boite Voices - Maiem project.

• Supported seven young emerging artists, through our Boite Portfolio program to build their EPKs (electronic press kits) and expand their networks for marketing their music.

• Involved over 600 children to perform songs highlighting the effects of climate change in our Boite Schools Chorus - Los Niños program.

• Celebrated 45 years of presenting and supporting diverse cultural music with our 45th Anniversary Celebration to a sold out audience at the Collingwood Town Hall in June.
