Welcome to Stop Live Exports! By becoming a member, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. "We," "us," "our," and "Stop Live Exports" refer to People Against Cruelty in Animal Transport (trading as Stop Live Exports) ABN 22 904 887 228.
1. Membership
a. Your membership commences upon successful payment of the applicable membership fee and acceptance by Stop Live Exports.
b. Membership types, fees, and associated benefits are as described on our website and/or the GiveNow platform at the time of joining or renewal.
c. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a membership at our discretion, particularly if a member’s conduct is deemed detrimental to the objectives or reputation of Stop Live Exports.
d. We reserve the right to decline corporate memberships if, in our judgment, the company’s operations, partnerships, or public positions conflict with the values or mission of Stop Live Exports.
2. Membership Fees & Renewals
a. Annual Memberships: Valid for 12 months from the date of joining. You will be notified prior to your renewal date with options to renew.
b. Monthly Sustainer Memberships: Ongoing, with fees debited monthly on or around the date you initially joined. You can cancel at any time (see section 3).
c. Corporate Memberships: Typically annual and subject to the specific terms agreed upon at the time of joining.
d. All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
e. We reserve the right to change membership fees. Any changes will be communicated to existing members with reasonable notice before their next renewal period.
f. Monthly Memberships – Optional Contribution Tiers: Where available, members may nominate their own monthly contribution, provided it meets the minimum required amount.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
a. Your Right to Cancel:
i. Monthly Memberships: You may cancel your monthly membership at any time by contacting us at [Your Email Address] or through the GiveNow platform if available. Cancellations will take effect from the next scheduled payment date. No refunds will be issued for past payments.
ii. Annual Memberships: You may choose not to renew your annual membership. If you wish to cancel during your membership term, please contact us. Refunds are generally not provided, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Stop Live Exports.
iii. Cooling-Off Period for Auto-Renewals: If your membership renews automatically and you contact us within 30 days of the transaction date to advise that the payment was unintentional or causes financial hardship, we may consider a refund at our discretion.
b. Our Right to Cancel:
We may cancel your membership if you breach these Terms and Conditions.
4. Use of Funds
Your membership fees and donations directly support Stop Live Exports' mission to end live animal exports through campaigning, advocacy, education, and community engagement.
5. Member Benefits
a. As a member, you may receive benefits such as newsletters, campaign updates, event invitations, and opportunities to participate in advocacy actions.
b. Specific benefits may vary depending on the membership type and are subject to change.
6. Privacy

By becoming a member, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Stop Live Exports will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your membership or participation in our activities.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. We will endeavor to notify members of significant changes. Your continued membership after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
