Ngalla Maya is a Noongar-owned and operated Aboriginal not-for-profit organisation supporting Aboriginal people in Western Australia. We are dedicated to creating positive and meaningful change and opportunities in the lives of Aboriginal ex-offenders, their families, and the wider Indigenous community.
Our programs include education, pre-employment training, mentoring, and employment support to candidates and our team works intensively to deliver individualised mentoring and wrap-around support through a culturally positive and learning relationship; encouraging candidates to develop skills, knowledge, and understanding for personal growth.
The wrap-around support we deliver is wide-reaching and includes assistance for homelessness, accessing food and medicine, escaping domestic violence, self-harm prevention, obtaining identification documents, assisting with Centrelink, banks, community housing and other relevant corporation application and processes; as well as supporting families during difficult times such as funerals.
We are not funded for this additional wrap-around service however it is vital to ensure we can continue to assist clients out of immediate crisis as well as support them to become job-ready.
Donate today and make a real difference in the lives of Indigenous men, women, and children in the local community.
